Catsfield Farm BESS

Elgin EsCo Ltd. is seeking to develop a battery storage project on land located at Catsfield Tree Farm, Stream Lane, Battle, East Sussex, England, UK. The development will occupy approximately 3.3 ha agricultural land, of which 1.2 ha is estimated to be required for the BESS components and is located approximately 1.3 km southwest of Catsfield.

This website was created as part of the planning process in order to allow for comments and feedback from interested parties before the planning application is submitted.

Public Consultation

As part of the planning consultation, we are encouraging you to leave your feedback through the survey that can be found on our website. This will remain open until the 9th of March and will give you the opportunity to shape our proposal.

Additionally, we would like to invite you to attend our face-to-face public consultation, which will be held on Thursday the 27th of February 2025. It will be held at Catsfield Village Hall, 11 Church Rd., Catsfield, Battle, between 4pm-7pm, during which team members and project specialists will be available to discuss the project.
